Through a passion to create a fun, effortless and independent style of colour-rich texture and contradiction, Sydney based fashion designer Justine Davis has grown from a small operation started in 2006 to become a recognised international exclusive brand. Throughout each collection, Justine creates a signature aesthetic celebrating the influence of different cultures and merges this with architectural shapes of glamorous punk.

Justine Davis started her foray into fashion in Perth, Western Australia, where as an award winning student Justine’s creativity showed no limits as she jetted off to London to work amongst some of the world’s most prestigious designers at the vibrant London Fashion Week.

Full of inspiration to fill a niche in the fashion industry combining the beautifully feminine with the unlikely mix of punk and sexy tailoring, Justine returned to Australia to launch DavisEyes. Receiving positive interest from local and international buyers from the offset, DavisEyes was discovered at Australian Fashion Week soon after. The brand was chosen later that year for an Australian Designer showcase with Shanghai Fashion Week followed by a successful major show at Singapore Fashion Festival. As a result Justine has established a market place in Australia, Saudi Arabia, Miami, Atlanta, Shanghai, Singapore and Dubai.

Originally a collection of six cocktail dresses recognised for their decorative layering, the brand has grown to provide a full ready-to-wear offering of dresses to style for day or night, separates and basics featuring unique quirky prints.

Such is the success of the label; Justine Davis has attracted a celebrity following with fans including Lady Gaga who after receiving a custom made ‘Lady Gaga’ dress was thrilled with the personal creation. Justine’s designs have also acquired editorial space in some of Australia’s leading fashion press including Cream magazine, Culture and international reception in Singapore Style and Miami Night.

The current collection ‘Stolen Princess‘ heralds a return to romance for DavisEyes, yet the Stolen Princess is no Cinderella. Strongly feminine, chiffon meets leatherette in exciting luxe cocktail dresses, ultra-wearable capes, street-style dresses and tights. The collection combines stunning rose-coloured chiffon with leatherette and strong prints creating a beautiful contrast. Rose metallic print is perfect for layering, while silk and jersey combine in beautifully cut dresses perfect for day or night. Quirky-pretty cocktail dresses are for limelight-loving princesses, as contrasting textures give an addictive edge.

For 2009 the proudly 100% Australian made brand is passionate about continuing to excite its loyal and enthusiastic followers with unique offerings and expand into the UK and US markets. Justine plans to increase the brands availability throughout Australia at exclusive boutiques.
